How different can one experience discomfort

Where a person can experience a teaspoon of urine loss as a serious incontinent, the other person does not experience this as such at all.

In my working life as a Continence nurse, I enjoyed consulting hours. In doing so, I noticed very often that every person has their own experience and that no standard advice can ever be given.

Anyone who asks for help is entitled to a personal advice tailored to the situation.

But where someone can experience a teaspoon of urine loss as a serious incontinent, the other does not experience this as such at all.

So I spoke to several people who are used to wearing the Swaens shorts. A solution for someone with mild urinary incontinence or / and hypersensitivity to regular discarding bandage.

Some people remain insecure and are constantly afraid of leakage or odor while experience has been able to learn that this uncertainty is not really necessary.

What also stayed with me is the lady who confided to me that she used three normal bandages a day and that she has worn the same pants since she used the Swaens shorts because she just does not think about it!

Theoretically, three bandages absorb more moisture than a Swaens pants. But with the bandages she was constantly aware of the loss of urine and because the shorts of Swaens feels so natural, she does not experience any incontinence.
