    Should you combine a Swaens with a tampon, cup or sanitary pad?

    That's possible but no nessecary. It's up to you what you like. You can wear just a Swaens or combine it with something else on your heavy days. Of course, the surface of the underwear (and therefore the crotch) also determines the amount of moisture absorbtion. For example, a thong has a small gusset and absorbs about 1 tampon. Other Swaens models have a larger gusset and therefore absorb more, on average between two and four tampons.
