The Swaens absorb not only blood, but also urine and discharge effortlessly. In a Swaens you feel good. Before your period, during or after.     Bamboo fabric

    We chose bamboo textile because of its fine properties. Bamboo is cooling, feels like silk, and absorbs as much as 60% more moisture than cotton. Bamboo is naturally bacteria- and odor-inhibiting. The bottoms consist of 95% bamboo and 5% spandex. Bamboo clothing feels like silk and does not shrink. The gusset captures menstrual fluid or urine between 50 to 70 ml (depending on model, rate and shape of moisture loss) and retains odors.

    Combining Swaens with a tampon, cup or pads?

    Nothing is necessary, everything is possibl. It is up to you what you like and it also depends on the amount of blood loss. You can wear Swaens alone or combine it with something else on heavy days. Of course, the surface area of the panties (and therefore the crotch) determines. For example, a thong has a small gusset and absorbs the amount of 1 tampon. Other Swaens models have a larger gusset and thus catch more blood, on average between two and four tampons.
